Easier than you might think – harder than it looks! For those who are interested in what goes into creating a resin head for a Ball-Jointed Doll, from conception to the final cast. There will be a powerpoint presentation that covers sculpting in clay, making molds from silicone, and casting the finished product in resin, along with tips and tricks and the humor of common pitfalls. Attendees will also be able to see first-hand and handle silicone molds and resin doll heads (there will be no raw/liquid chemicals or other hazardous materials at the panel).
About the panelist: I have been a BJD faceup artist for about 4 years under the shop name “AngelToast”, and in 2010 I started my own line of original BJD heads.
